Houses of Worship : Essential? Here's another take.

As we see the United States of America opening up their economy in spite of the rising numbers of infected for Coronavirus, there is constant conflict between federal and state instructions.

I don't pose to be religious, an expert, or even well-versed in the religions, but I have always been interested. So today, I share this.

When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward.

Mathew 6:5

The interpretation of this can be debated for years, but there is one item that comes to mind. Prayer is not about the people, the place, and the opinion of men. It was always meant to be about your relationship with god, and not about what men may see.

Today, when we struggle, when times are changing everyday, and fear takes over. People look for guidance and help from god.

In times of suffering, it is important that we keep our faith. But our faith needs to focus on what is important.

Going to church is not important. Praying, keeping your faith, being a good neighbor, a good person, and being the best version of yourself protecting your loved ones is.
